Email from Steve and Kath 22 Sept 09:
Hi Nick,

A big thank you for an excellent three days in the Cuillin. Just like last year, Kath and I enjoyed ourselves enormously. We managed peaks and routes we would have struggled with by ourselves, and learnt some more outdoor skills in the process. Thanks also for listening to what we wanted to do and tailoring the three days to achieve just that.

Thanks again for helping make it one of our most memorable holidays!

Take care
Steve and Kath

Just to say thankyou for a fantastic weekend. Your tuition was easy to understand and comprehensive. You have now given me confidence to introduce my daughter to scrambling in a safe manner. Your tuition on navigation was clear and concise... Thanks for your time and effort. p.s.thanks for the photos, they were brill.

Nick,

Thanks for a terrific two days. Once again you delivered what I asked - fantastic. The ridge traverse was an amazing experience and I really enjoyed myself and it was pleasing to do it in one go - your knowledge of the ridge makes all the difference as there was no time wasted wondering which the best route was .. I felt that I was in very safe hands throughout and was able to concentrate on what I was doing.

I can't express too strongly my satisfaction at completing it or my gratitude for all your efforts and encouragement.

Thanks again. With Best Wishes
Ian

Hello Nick,

The photos say it all really. Broad smiles predominate in four days in the Cuillins which could have provided kinder weather...We all had a great time being introduced to scrambling in some quite serious terrain. I definitely made the right decision in recognising where my mountain competencies tailed off and leaving it to you guys to make the most of the days...

Helen got to bag all her Munros, so shes happy. Clare and I would like extend special thanks to Donald for realising an ambition in guiding us up the Pinnacle Ridge in great style whilst dodging the hail. Most of all, all of us were struck by the infectious blend of good humour and professionalism both you and Donald brought to the whole venture. Im already working on Clare for a return trip to do the whole Cuillin Ridge traverse one day...

Email from David and Don 4 Mar 09:
Hi Nick

Really enjoyed our trip. Mark was a great guide. Weather got better after first day and allowed us to achieve a good mixture of (re)learning the ropes and challenging (for us) routes. Expectations and objectives were completely met. Fingers Ridge and Afterthought Arrete were exciting and hugely satisfying. More please!!
Yes Mark did brilliantly - really upbeat despite the conditions... He found us some really exciting routes - although it was a bit more like a summer course than a winter one... 3 stars for Afterthought - awesome route. Looking forward to next year already.

Hi Nick

Had a great time despite soft snow. Sam was very patient, gave me a lot of confidence, was positive and has a great sense of humour. It was just what I needed and I have now hard wired belay stances, protection and managing ropes for future use...
We are already planning 2010!

Cheers, Raymond

Hi Nick

We had two great days with Sam. I picked up quite a few new things and it felt like the procedures for lead climbing and belaying are on good track now. She guided us in a excellent way and we are certainly progressing further as a result of that. I would recommend her as a guide to anyone asking, patient, precise and clear, and the whole thing wrapped up in enthusiasm.

cheers, Kaj

Hi Nick

Had a fantastic time last week, we were only disappointed we couldn't get to Hells Lum because of the high winds. Definitely picked up some new skills as well as practicing what you showed us last year. Will see you next year.

Cheers, Jon and Caroline

Matt is doubtless blushing by now but I also thought the course was excellent. He took the time to understand what we wanted of the course and then delivered it excellently. All the skills were taught in a progressive manner so by the end we had practised the early lessons several times.

Many thanks, Rob

Dear Nick,

I'd like to second Angharad's vote of confidence. Matt was excellent, I've done 3 climbing courses and Matt beats all the others. Sociable, professional, knowledgeable and fun...Thanks for organising a really good course.

Hi Nick,

I wanted to say thanks so much for organising our four days in the Cairngorms. It was fantastic - I learnt loads and it was also really, really good fun. Matt is a great teacher, really competent and safe - we felt very well looked after. On top of that he is just an all round nice bloke which made the long weekend particularly enjoyable. I'll be recommending him and your company to anyone that asks! Have a good rest of the season.

Take care, Angharad
